Here's a wider view. The North Pacific warm ocean temperature anomaly (return of "#TheBlob"?) is literally off the charts. (SST charts rarely use a scale wider than +/- 5 C since anomalies of that magnitude over a broad region sustained over days/weeks are extremely rare.)
