Especially with indie comics, that's the person paying for and (usually) promoting the book. The artists I talked to were writer/artists or were pushed by the PR

Small DnD rant. It makes me so angry that due to corporate greed, I can't use the source books THAT I OWN in print, because they want me to spend more money on the digital version. Like, I want to enjoy the game and use all of their fun options, but I can't because WotC is greedy
