@unojen_wood And if you create more jobs they won’t be “career” jobs with progressive salaries but dead end minimum wage jobs. Yes minimum wage is a start but a lot of people are stuck on it and have no progression in their workplace.

@marcuschown The reason why birth rates are low is because of insecure expensive private rented housing, less disposable income and the privatisation of childcare, in the 80s and 90s there was lots of council run nurseries for low income families.

@AWeeWumman They aren’t allowed to claim to heat their primary homes, but they can claim expenses to pay rent and heat their secondary homes, which is wrong when average people who work or on pension have to ration the heating in winter.

@magsfreedom111 All MPs expenses should be stopped and paid out of their own pockets, no discounted food and drinks, no help with second home rents or utility bills if MPs can tell the poor what they can spend their money on, we can do the same with them!

@SlyForTheRight Why aren’t they addressing that’s there’s less jobs than people, and it’s the not the world anymore where you can just walk into a workplace and ask for a job and get one straight away, that there is increased competition for jobs!

@centre_right_ If you want to ban fags and booze for people on benefits, ban fags and booze for everyone. When MPs claim expenses on alcohol it’s okay for them, but when a person on benefits does it, not allowed! Hypocrisy! When MPs are on 95k a year!

@LordDagenham71 @Dawni_Q Not everyone is a benefit scrounging ponce. Minimum wage doesn’t pay enough for a basic standard of life for a single person in 2026, a lot of people are working but get a top up because they don’t get paid enough and can’t work full time (parents or carers)

How can you not afford to live on under 100k a year salary and extra freebies while complaining about a few beers or a packet of fags that someone has on benefits. Oh the irony, same principle, taking from the tax payer!
