It’s generally amusing that Obi-Wan is fully gay coded in the Revenge of the Sith novelization, but no more so than when Palpatine hints at Obi-Wan having a secret affair and Anakin straight up assumes it’s with a man.
@DPaulWelsh Not my six faves, but now I want to put Moondragon on a team of other moon-related supers and see what happens.

@ChampagnePuthy So many options, but I like that he’s such a dad. He takes on (so many) burdens so others don’t have to, but he’s also trying to support/nurture others’ development.
@ChampagnePuthy So many things, but if I had to pick a favorite trait…I like how fair Storm is. Truly, a “if you don’t start none, won’t be none” person. And it leads her to show compassion where she might have cause to be more hostile (see Magneto, Rogue, Madelyne, the Morlocks).
@StevenTnyc Yeah, Storm led the X-men when it was the best selling comic book in the world…for years.
Storm was added to the movie roster because she was one of the biggest comic characters in the world.
Wild to think or claim Bryan Singer made her bigger than Monica.
@deltaIV9250 Over what time horizon? Because probably not anytime soon, but once Palpatine was like “time to debut a fresh new clone body” or died trying, there’s a good chance it would begin to falter.
@TylerDinucci Agreed, people want max responsiveness to their needs. New, diverse populations are a threat to that and must be opposed/eliminated.
But some displacement concerns also seem like legacy arguments. Historical displacement was bad, so development is reflexively opposed.
