🇺🇸🇮🇷 Shipping from China to the Gulf is breaking down
Cargo ships that used to arrive in around 20 days are now taking up to 60.
Instead of going through the Strait of Hormuz to Dubai, many are rerouting to Saudi Arabia and taking a much longer path around Africa to avoid attacks.
Why this matters:
-Deliveries of key goods like food and medicine are slowing down by weeks.
-Costs are surging, which means higher prices across the region.
-And the entire supply chain is getting stretched, adding delays at every step.
