@MattBrownEP 4 of the last 10 National Championships were won by private schools. 8 of 10 schools in the ACC are private. 10 of 11 schools in the Big East are private.
@MattBrownEP This is great data, but I think the public vs private school designation is really glossed over here, pointing at Furman, BYU and Penn is not a good snap shot of private school representation in MBB. It is a bit of an anomaly that there are only 5 top 25 private schools currently
How cool is this? Ethan Cooper is a 2nd grader in So.Calif. A huge Met fan in Dodger territory. I’m flattered of course, but really impressed with his poise and passion. You crushed it, Ethan. You will be in the booth before you know it. Parents Josh and Sara should be proud.
@HoyaOptimist33@CoachCooleyGTWN Is it perhaps that they stuck around to watch the Big East Tournament, which is sacred, and booing Cooley merely is a by-product?
@PatBoyle44@BenjaminSWatson Perhaps take a look at @BenjaminSWatson’s Wonderlic score, (a hint it’s tied for the 3rd highest in NFL history) and then take a look in the mirror about who might have the comprehension issue. The NFL, their referees, and the vast majority on this thread disagree with your take.
This is some of the best political news I've seen in a very long time.
There's a clear a way to end Citizens United by changing state incorporation laws - and now luminaries in both parties are forcing a vote on it in the 2026 election.
This episode of Sesame Street back in 1988 is why Trump is targeting PBS and Sesame Street so much! The episode was Ronald Grump intends to raze Sesame Street and redevelop it! Does this sound familiar because that’s what he does everywhere! 😡😡😡
1/ After residency at Mass General Hospital, I reported to Atlanta to meet my fellow CDC Epidemic Intelligence Service Officers.
I have never felt so intimidated by my peers
The best and the brightest, they were star clinicians, had served in disaster zones; MD/PhDs and MSF.
Watching Gen Z men veer right hits different for Millennials. We lived through Columbine, 9/11, the Iraq War, 2008 crash, 2016 election, covid, abortion bans, & now this. We watched institutions repeatedly fail us while older generations selfishly protected the status quo. 🧵1/
A man intentionally set a fire at Spring Cafe Aspen last month. A New York City garbage collector who spotted a bright glow on the sidewalk while on his route drove toward it to help. “There’s people living there,” he said later. “I know how that feels.” https://t.co/XxwFdXu8zw
