Glad to see the new Ghost in the Shell anime is #1 trending in anime TV shows on Amazon Prime. It's great to see Masamune Shirow's original manga vision finally realized in anime format, with the characters full of personality and color instead of the drab, decolorized versions in the anime movies or SAC.

A version of Section 9 that's more a band of misfit mercs than an elite police squad. A major with personality instead of abject stoicism... she is sarcastic, pragmatic, and cocky... in a world of color instead of the drab grayscale in some of the adaptations.

This version of Ghost in the Shell doesn't take itself too seriously, doesn't explain the lore, and just shows the world and trusts that the audience is "adult" enough to enjoy without the handholding. Also, the 90's animation aesthetic is a huge plus for me.

Now, don't get me wrong, I like the 1995 Ghost in the Shell movie, SAC, and other adaptations. But they feel more like a different parallel universe of the original. More introspective, and a little more world-building and lore dumps, more philosophical.

But this one is just more irreverent, with that weird humor that was missing from all the other adaptations.

I can't wait to see more of it!

veilguard truely is THE shitstain on the dragon age franchise and i couldn't agree more.

- Robinson’s defense has access to all evidence, objects to none of it. It’s real.
