Today marks my final day at Princess Anne. It has been a wonderful experience. I couldn’t have had a better crew to work with. I’m excited to move on to my new journey tomorrow as Director of Agronomy for Hampton Roads Golf Clubs overseeing Honey Bee and Stumpy Lake golf courses.
@Turf4Dad Scott, installed Zeon collars back in 2018. Too much info for twitter, but almost zero encroachment into the greens after two years. Let’s catch up soon.
Hope Cooper, our Club Management intern, wrapped up her week rotation in our department today mowing fairways! She learned mowing greens, rolling, setup, moisture meter, bunkers and stimpmeter! We are proud to have her at CCC! Great job this week!
Black tee on #2 (Par three) has been converted to Zeon and Prizm zoysia, half and half, for divot recovery comparison as we continue to research zoysia varieties for our course.
We are very proud of Mark Reaves, one of our previous interns who continues to work with us as he finishes school. Previous internships here and at Trinity Forest Golf Club have set him up to move on to Quail Hollow with @kcwood74 after he graduates! Proud!
