@LeanXTriforcer IMO you don't want "gaming chairs." You want a high quality office chair. I have often gone to OfficeDepot/OfficeMax and sat in their display models to see which was most comfortable. My most recent purchase was at a specialized local office furniture store I found on Google.
@lucastech You should try uncensored versions of Qwen, like ones from HauhauCS for example. Not only did it remove the dystopian feeling CCP alignment, the model actually became more self aware, in that it no longer would insist to me that it was Qwen2.5 and running on Alibaba's servers.
@vladimirdesigns In college I would volunteer to unwrap any model that someone didn't want to deal with. My grandma always loved putting together puzzles, I think I inherited those genes.
@Sebasti66855537@mean_mystic Display Port 1.4 does not have enough bandwidth to display 1440p 240hz HDR, so DSC is being used as a fallback automatically. Without HDR it is riding so close to the limit that any extra overhead in the process is likely pushing it over the limit and turning DSC on again.
@punished688 Semantics. 223 Wylde copies the freebore diameter of .223 the chamber and combines it with a freebore length and throat angle that much more closely matches a 5.56 chamber. This is effectively a hybridization of the two standards. The purpose is for accuracy and reliability.
@punished688 Yeah that is exactly what we are discussing. The purpose of .223 Wylde. It's a hybrid chambering that solves accuracy issues. Other chamberings exist like PTG 223 Rem Match and JGS 5.56 Compass Lake. The other guy asked why it exists. It's for match rifles.
@punished688 Incorrect. The 5.56 chamber has a longer throat than a .223 chamber, which makes for small differences in accuracy if you fire .223 from a 5.56 barrel. Doesn't really matter if you're shooting 55 grain ball, but if you're shooting match ammo in competition then it will matter.
The game sold over 2 million copies which they confirmed was better than expectations. This was enough to convince them to green light season 2 (which we were told was basically a miracle) and green light the World Tour. For extra perspective, the budget for SCVI was "one Tekken DLC" which I believe refers to one season of DLC, meaning four characters, which we also know is a budget of $1M per character, meaning the total budget for SCVI was likely $4-5M. At 2M sales, there was plenty of profit.
Over the last few years there have been several indications that SCVII is coming eventually, if you know what to look for and who to talk to at tournaments.
@SmashCasket By and large yeah. Soulcalibur VI was doing great until COVID. It was going to be a main EVO game again, a World Tour had started, and Season 2 DLC was releasing, but far too many people bailed without the tournaments around for a while.
@empty_the .223 Wylde is a hybrid chambering that solves the accuracy issues that would normally occur when shooting .223 from a 5.56 chambered barrel. Can shoot both and not have to worry about accuracy.
@OllieMaximoff Here's a hasty phone screenshot of a result I got for this image one of my friends posted in Discord the other day. I used it to hunt down a higher quality version to then use it to get a better result when animating it in Grok Imagine for a laugh.
Google's embrace of AI powered search is so good that when I typed "Leap that wall, if you're so great" to get a video clip of that scene it replied "I'm sorry, but as an AI model I am unable to physically leap over walls."
Brilliant.
