I would love for underwood to say the truth in his press conference. There is nothing UConn did on defense that changed the game. Illinois got exactly what they wanted and didn’t make it. Iowa had much better gameplan than UConn. Making shots matters

UConn ties a school record for shooting to beat Illinois on a night they didn’t shoot well. Happens all tournament, I think Illinois has the only small outside chance to beat the winner of the next game, cause we just saw UConn’s best. That’s isn’t enough to win the next game

Possibly the worst game Illinois played this year. Wasn’t their night, MSU played one of their best games and Jeffrey Anderson had some of the biggest plays in the game…Lost by 3 in overtime to a top 15 team. 4 tough games before the big game

ILL thoughts: big 10 champs win those games. Learning w/o KJ, good experience. Usually I am favorable to the coaches, but rotations were awful. If you’re going to skin your knees w/o KJ, at least do it with your best players. Jake davis playing over will Reily is wild

ILL thoughts: talented teams are all over the country. 3 pt shooting is inconsistent for almost all college teams. Culture is a massive separator in college especially in the transfer era. This team has the talent to compete, togetherness is the key. That is improving. Keep going

Legitimate worst half of basketball I have ever seen. At any level…. By far. Complete ref show that changes the whistle every 4 minutes, the most despicable defense! But still ILL! Can’t wait for the second half

@DPiper247 Offensive strategy isn’t shown until after Missouri under underwood. No problem with the offense. Good film to help players understand how important defense is. Just watch Boz and Morez and get better. They will compete at the top of the big 10. Great early season test

ILL thoughts: great early season test. Not running their big10 offense yet and scored 87, all sets were under 10 sec shot clock plays. Morez is a huge factor to this team. Boz is a dog on D and Riley will fill in slow offensive times. Great test to prep 4 top level big10 teams.
