CHARLOTTE BASEBALL COMMUNITY

I’m asking everyone to please pray for one of the kindest humans I know - Sonny Smith. Sonny, A long time major league scout and youth baseball coach was involved in a very bad multi vehicle crash in S.C. on the way to coach his youth baseball team. Sonny is in ICU after being airlifted to MUSC. He needs every prayer you can lift up

My son has been extremely lucky to have had many amazing, caring, impactful coaches in his life. Sonny is right at the top. Our relationship was never about baseball it was about love and care and kindness. When Grace was going through her journey - Sonny always checked on us. Grace loved Sonny just like Tyler and I do

I pray he can recover and continue to help others and share his love a little more in this earth.

I hope you will lift him up as well. God watch over our friend. “Hollywood” as he calls Tyler and I love you
