About how he missed Lexington already and vice versa. It was really a quick interaction, but man as someone who saw just a glimpse of him on a weekly basis, I could tell a weight has been lifted off his shoulders. Wish it could have ended differently but he seems happier now. 2/2
At my work, I would see Coach Cal about twice a week. He was always cordial with me and always returned greetings. I saw him, probably for the last time today. He seemed so happy, and honestly looked younger today than the past two years. We had a nice conversation… 1/2
@KingRaines_ I’d agree with that. I mean the dude didn’t recruit Chris Lofton, who was basically in his backyard lol. All in all though if we suffer for a few years then we suffer but it’ll all be fine and now we don’t have to pretend that only Cal can be the coach.
@KingRaines_ The first half and second half of Cal’s tenure are wildly different. Also, Tubby had a few top 3 seeded teams that had great chances to win it all. If D Wade doesn’t go beserk he probably wins another one.
@KingRaines_ Nah man he tried to play both angles when he only cared about one. Look, I still like Cal and he’s probably gonna kill it at Arkansas but it was time lol. He was the most overrated coach of all time according to all the haters until he left. Now we’re gonna suffer? lol
@KingRaines_ If I could bet on it that’s where I’d put my money. Something tells me that how Cal was treated the last few years may turn some coaches off from coming here though. We may get humbled and miss out on the first few guys.
