A fighter jet hits Mach 2, slicing through the sky at 1,500 mph.
Impressive - until you realize Fogo finalizes transactions faster than the pilot can turn their head.
Stay grounded, jets. Fogo’s built for speed.

“Solana Aligned”?
If you can’t keep ‘em, align ‘em!
Here’s a spitball suggestion to solve Solana’s inflation problem, while dealing with the inevitable defection of apps spinning into competitive chains. And this is something I’d accept for Fogo as well:
Instead of pushing these projects down a competitive path, I’d offer the legit ones to apply for an official brand called “Solana Aligned” that they can display.
If they get voted in, maybe they start with a permissioned NFT they have to buy with $SOL (that gets burned).
But the continued value back to Solana is an agreement they need to buy/burn $SOL to the tune of 5-10% of their fees. Similar to the tax/tariff being discussed on the ETH side.
I gotta think most defector apps would take that deal. And if an app that made their name/money on Solana doesn’t respect Solana enough to agree to that - you don’t want them aligned. Good riddance.
And you would have the community vote on it. So the project needs to pitch the biz case, why this alignment makes sense, and how they’re going to be collaborative/complementary. Ok, now vote Yes or No on “Solana Aligned”. An option is always better than a non-option.
Even somebody like Monad might have applied for this early given their respect for Solana. I mean, who knows who finds value in this? And the community will have the final vote to protect the Solana brand.
The only argument against (voting) on these would be: “no new chain can make significant enough tradeoffs to get traction and all new chains are just noise such that even voting on this is a distraction”
But if the market share destruction that Hyperliquid is currently doing to DEX’s and CEX’s is “noise” – I’ll take that noise any day of the week! Ignore that at your own peril.
That’s the best idea I got, Solana community.
The Brazilian steakhouse is about to close. You wanna slice of that juicy Fogo? Now’s your chance.
