Extra Inning Drama & a Walk Off to Remember!!

Those who attended today's stop on the WNC College Tour Series were treated to a great display of Division 1 Baseball with @CatamountBSB taking the series vs Power 4 @TerpsBaseball in an 11-9 thriller in Cullowhee

There's flashier clips of @kingsmith0705's Walk Off 3 Run Dinger, but I prefer the long version, down to the final out, final strike, he delivered with his 1st Catamount HR

Thank you @brock_keener for providing some amazing perspective on the literal geographical journey Baseball can send you on; many of our WNC prospects need to hear that & realize there are opportunities outside these Mountains as well.

It was great to see so many Western North Carolina High School Grads in Western Carolina University jerseys today. I also ran into many familiar WNC faces in the crowd; it is a testament to the culture Coach Beck & his staff are building in these Mountains.

And again, what a Game! Baseball provides so many Narratives. Maryland has an Offensive Record-Breaking Day on Saturday, winning 35-12, winning by 23 runs, yet the Catamounts take the Series, pulling out 2 W's by a combined total of 3 Runs.
