@pcgamer Marathon (from what I've heard) is almost all PvP, so it sort of hurts that the devs essentially cast people who like PvE content aside, only writing them back in as an after thought.
I don't wish it to fail but I sort of feel like it might, unfortunately.
@pcgamer Oddly enough, I think it comes from an immature area of love. People love something to the point that they feel spurned when it goes away and is effectively replaced by something else.
I do think Marathon's production killed D2. I loved D2 but hated the PvP.
@MallowTheQueen So, while it's rude to wish Marathon to fail horribly, it's understandable why someone would. I personally see it as the reason Destiny 2 died after TFS. There were plenty of stories they could have picked up but "chose" not to and I think that decision came to Marathon or D2.
@MallowTheQueen All because management thought it could recapture the niche fan base of Marathon with nostalgia bait and the promise of a good PvP game. While a good portion of their fans are majority PvP players, their moneymakers were their PvE players which they alienated.
@JeffGrubb Touting Mixtape as a revolutionary coming of age indie sweetheart is laughable. It plays itself, it captures the 90s with all the experience of someone who never experienced them, and Anapurna is funded by one of the richest families in the world. They paid you off, so you'd know
@JeffGrubb The problem is game devs no longer offer demos of their games, forcing a lot of players to rely off of bitchass shills like yourself to give dishonest reviews. But you know what? Player numbers don't lie. Other actual gamers do not lie when they talk about games.
@Miurgen@AMinstrelsTale@DestinyTheGame@Bungie I'm genuinely curious if naming something like this is considered appropriation. I, too, believe which is why I called the gun "When the go".
@PuppersTV I'm so sorry for the torment you're going through. My grandfather had ALS, and it was terrible to see him have to give up speaking (which he loved), most foods (he was a foodie), and golf. My heart breaks for you, and I hope you can find some peace and solace.
And I thought that being alive out of spite of those who don't give a single thought to me was enough. But it's not, so now I try to be there for people who may have that level of hurt because even if I talk only one person off that ledge, it would be a life well lived.
I could probably count on one finger, the number of people who follow me who would have actually cared if I was gone, and it's my own sister. Wanna know why? Because men's mental health doesn't actually matter. Not until it's your son, your husband, your dad, or your brother.
@_SuNeos @MaDMaNPeNn_@BungieFacts Also, I agree with you, MadMan did make the dumbest argument ever. Critiquing a product allows for the company to make the product better.
@_SuNeos @MaDMaNPeNn_@BungieFacts I get the meta should be changed and fresh but fuck if I really don't feel like getting on the grind train for the same weapon I used all last season just with one or two perks that make it slightly better. I just don't have it in me anymore.
@_SuNeos @MaDMaNPeNn_@BungieFacts I did love Bungie's Halo and Destiny 1 and D2 between Forsaken and all the way up to Witch Queen. Things after that just feel stale and boring. It sucks quitting something that was once your hobby because you don't feel like Destiny should be the only thing you do with your life.
Dear @ConcernedApe,
If romance is an option in Haunted Chocolatier and if one of them isn't a male with facial hair, I will kidnap Harvey from Pelican Town and doom the entire valley to wither away in Pestilence.
Thanks π
