A lie is a lie, no matter who affirms it.
I love you too much to let you live in a false religion, I call you to read the Bible and then really objectively read the Book of Mormon and see the contradictions.
We welcome you with open arms whenever you decide to hear the call of Jesus and follow Him and not the version that was created by man to confuse and lead astray.
When you invent a new religion but use names from others, it doesn’t make it the same as the others.
We are told and warned of false Jesus’s and angels of light that preach different gospels than what was given to us by Christ and the Apostles.
Mornonism uses the name Jesus but not His teachings, and it was given to Joseph Smith by an Angel of Light.
We were warned and yet people chose to ignore the warnings, then wonder why Christians don’t consider your false teachings Christianity.
@eyweimi@BasedMikeLee Scripture is the Word of God.
You are choosing to deny scripture that doesn’t adhere to your doctrine/religion.
Repent and accept Christ as your Lord and Savior.
Is our and us a singular or plural word?
God is above our human understanding, there is only one God, but there are three persons in the Godhead.
Jesus tells us that He and the Father are one, and that the one that comes after Him (Holy Spirit) will reside inside us.
We are to baptize in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
You are trying to apply human logic to God, and that’s your problem, God is who created us and He is beyond our understanding.
@MDHensley5 It’s the small c catholic, not the large C of the RCC.
Hope that helps.
Read the Athanasian’s creed if you want to know what the catholic faith is.
@Latterdaytruth Just not the Jesus Christ of the Bible and as He revealed Himself.
No, as a version of him that your religion invented and doesn’t hold true to scripture.
It is Biblical.
Read Genesis 1:26
By denying the Trinity, you deny Jesus’s divinity, yet claim to follow Him. He who claimed to be God, accepted praise, forgave sin, and was executed for the crime of calling Himself God.
If you are truly Christian, you accept He is God, that there is only one God, and that God is Triune.
Except he didn’t, and the epistles of Paul, John, Peter, Jude, James, all flow together and have no contradictions.
Matthew 5 precedes the death and resurrection.
Acts in its entirety (written by Luke) shows us that circumcision is no longer required but per Peter, Baptism now saves us.
We are in a new covenant post resurrection.
@theschumann1@BasedMikeLee Expect you deny His divinity, say He is a brother of satan, that God was once man, and there isn’t a trinity.
So, pretty much deny Him entirely and invent your own version of Him.
This is why you aren’t considered Christians.
@eyweimi@BasedMikeLee And you’d be wrong.
Paul was affirmed by Peter, James, and others as an Apostle of Christ and his writings to be scripture.
He didn’t invent a new version of Christ, but held fast to Christ’s teachings.
@ByuSome When you reject Christ and His teachings, you don’t get recognized by those of us who do as one of us.
When you realize that and decide to understand His teachings, we welcome you.
I’m sorry, when you reject what it is Christians believe, you don’t then get to claim to be a Christian.
You can call yourself whatever you want, but it doesn’t make you the thing you claim to be.
If I put on a secret service uniform and called myself one, does that make me one?
@Latterdaytruth You can do so, but then you can’t make your second claim and be filled with Truth.
It’s one or the other, you believe in the Trinity and are Christian or you reject it and are Mormon.
@faithfulbvnny21@2Sticks1Nation@PeteHegseth@SecWar@DeptofWar No, it’s right because I can wear a Cowboys Jersey, that doesn’t make me Cowboy.
When you reject the divinity of Christ and the Trinity of God, you aren’t a Christian.
Hope that helps.
