Could God have used evolution and millions of years to create?

No, God could not use evolution and millions of years. Now some are shocked when I say this as they say, “But God can do anything, he’s the infinite Creator.” Others have said, “But Luke 1:37 states, ‘For nothing will be impossible with God.’”

God could not use (or have used) evolution and millions of years. To do so would go against his character. In fact, I would claim that for those Christians who believe in evolution and millions of years, they are condoning a process that is a direct attack on God’s character.

God himself is the definition of good. The attributes of God (all loving, all merciful, etc.) are part of what “good” means. When God stepped into history in the person of his Son, he healed people of diseases. He raised people from the dead. After all, God’s Word describes death as an “enemy” (1 Corinthians 15:26).

Now today we live in a world of death and disease. This is described in Romans 8:22 as a groaning world because of our sin. God didn’t create the world this way because after he finished creating he said everything was “very good” (Genesis 1:31).

Our sin messed up this “very good” world resulting in death (which is an enemy, an intrusion), disease, and suffering.

Now evolution involves a process of death, violence, and suffering over millions of years to supposedly produce all life including humans. The fossil record, which is supposedly a record of the evolution of life over millions of years, is replete with remains of all sorts of animals, with many bones showing evidence of diseases like cancer, abscesses, arthritis, and more.

Now for those Christians who take man’s ideas of evolution and millions of years (which is really a pagan religion to try to explain life without God) and add it into the Bible, they are saying all these supposed millions of years of death and disease existed before man.

Now after God created everything including man, he said everything he made was “very good.” In other words, one would have to then accept God is calling diseases like cancer and violence “very good.” That is an attack on the character of God.

Instead of trying to add evolution into the Bible, we need to start with God’s Word.

New data shows the religiously unaffiliated (“Nones”) dropping from 36.2% in 2022 to 31.8% in 2025. (Another study has them down to just 25.2%!)

Pew had already confirmed the freefall halted at 62% Christian...for six years straight!

The secular surge isn’t stalled. It’s going backward.

Why?

The fakers finally left.

Left-wing “cultural Christians” had to choose between their politics and the faith. They chose politics. Liberals identifying as Christian collapsed from 61% in 2007 to just 36% today.

Democrats tanked. Conservatives stayed rock-solid at 82%.

Good riddance. What remains is (mostly) real. And growing again.

Gallup’s latest data confirms the driver: among men 18–29, the share saying religion is “very important” exploded from 28% to 42% in just two years!

Young men now surpass young women — a total reversal of centuries of trends.

Barna shows the same: weekly Bible reading is surging, especially among Gen Z men.

Christianity gives these young men what the secular world never could: a Father, a mission, strength, discipline, courage, purpose, repentance, and ordered liberty. It calls their masculinity a stewardship — not "toxic."

The woke regime gave them despair, porn, loneliness, and lectures on how evil they are. They’re rejecting it.

Is this a new Great Awakening? We'll see. But the old narrative is dead. The low-hanging fruit of easy deconversion is gone. What’s left is serious, resilient faith — refined by the “negative world” and growing again.

The tide is turning.

Elon Musk: We said our patents are, anyone can use them for free. We only do patents at Tesla to avoid patent trolls causing trouble. So we'll try to look ahead and say, okay, patent trolls are going to try to file patents to block certain things. We'll file patents and then open source the patent, make it free.

So in my opinion, we should massively reduce what can be patented because the whole point of patenting is to maximize innovation, not inhibit it. And in my opinion, maybe a controversial opinion, most patents inhibit innovation. They do not help it.

But there are cases, I do want to single out cases such as a phase 3 clinical trial that might cost a billion dollars, but then the drugs thereafter cost a few dollars to a manufacturer. And if you can then immediately copy those drugs for a few dollars, no one will pay for the billion dollar phase 3. So you have to address the free rider problem.

But other than that, there should be no patents. The ideas are easy. The execution is the hard part. As the old saying goes, it's one percent inspiration, if not less than one percent, and 99 percent perspiration.
