🚨 THIS IS ABSOLUTELY WILD.

An undercover auditor walked into an Ontario driving school and allegedly paid just $200 for a driver education certificate.

Required training:

10 HOURS behind the wheel.
30 HOURS of coursework.
Completed by the undercover “student”?

ZERO.

Yet a certificate was submitted to the MTO saying the training had been completed.

The MTO concluded there was a deliberate attempt to profit by falsifying a key document and revoked the licences of TWO related driving schools.

But here’s the twist:

The Ontario Superior Court upheld the sanction against Peel Driving School, but QUASHED the revocation of the related Unique Driving School because its owner was never asked or tasked with instructing the undercover student.

The case was sent back to the MTO for reconsideration and the MTO was ordered to pay $10,000 in legal costs.

Meanwhile, Peel Driving School’s licence remains REVOKED.

If people can obtain certificates saying they completed mandatory driver training when they actually completed ZERO hours…

This is about PUBLIC SAFETY.
