I am currently working with a second grader in reading. He does not enjoy reading, but he loves outer space! I am trying to find a way to connect him to someone working in the field so that he can read and write in a way that matters to him. Any ideas on how to do this?

This summer I had the honor of teaching the sweetest 5year old to read his very first words. He loved it all, and to finish off the summer, we did a scavenger hunt for his words. After finding them all, he was so proud and ran around screaming “I AM A GENIUS!” Yes buddy, you are!

I had so much fun visiting #pennchristianacademy preschool today! I loved reading about St. Patrick’s day and making shamrock suncatchers with all the little friends! And I got to hang out with my second grade teacher and a fabulous teacher friend!
