Almost two weeks ago, I tore my ACL by taking one wrong step during a game. Today I had my reconstruction surgery. It has been a tough process so far. I am so grateful for my support system and the all the friends and doctors that have helped me. The road to recovery starts now!
I’m blessed to announce that I have verbally committed to play soccer and continue my education at LCU! First of all, I would like to thank God, because with out Him none of this would be possible. I also want to thank every coach, teammate, friend and my family for the support!
although i can’t take the field yet, that means i’ve gained a new role… coaching my sister! preparing her for her first high school season is so exciting! today we worked on first touch and left foot skills. i can’t wait to see what she can achieve this year!@SoccerVols
It’s official! Can’t wait for my next 4 years with @CSUFutbol under the amazing @KeeleyHagen , @Sharrose6 , and @CoachPurdum . The past 17 years was a warmup, but the real work starts today. Go Rams! 🐏⚽️
@MaijaTate i truly am heartbroken for you. ACL injuries are such a mental battle. but this process has shown me that everything happens for a reason. you will come back stronger and you’ve gained another supporter!!!!❤️🤗
Enough is enough. I’ve read this over and over and cried because I know A LOT of what these brave empowered student athletes said is TRUE. Wake up @uiwcardinals I’m shaking with anger and so should the female student athletes that leadership has neglected, this is a cry for help!
