Men,
Beware of self-glorification words:
“on my own,” “by myself,” “no handouts,” “self-made.”
I’m guilty of it as well.
It’s a lie.
We, in fact, have done nothing on our own.
GOD has done a majority of the work.
Glorify HIM.
Hey gym goers,
If more people chased performance instead of aesthetics, then there would be more people achieving their aesthetic goals.
Remember that.

Hey peeps,
A lot of your time issues can be solved with 2 simple steps.
1) Stop scrolling
2) Wake up earlier
Need more time for: a hobby, the gym, a project, a book, prayer, meal prep?
I bet following those steps will help if not fix your problem.

Hey gym goers,
You can have a $1000 workout program or a free workout program you found on google.
Neither of them work without intensity.
Intensity is directly correlated with results. So do it with great effort.

Hey coaches,
It’s not how much you know. It’s not how many years of experience, or certifications you have.
It’s about how much you truly Care.
Success comes from Consistency.
Consistency from Culture.
Culture from genuine Care.
Real Care takes Action.
So if you Care…Do.

Hey coaches, contrary to some beliefs, its important for you to be in great shape.
Knowing but not doing is unprofessional.
Am I saying you have to be an elite athlete? Absolutely not.
But you better be able to comfortably follow the guidance you provide.
Doing > Talking

Signs that you rely on motivation👎🏻:
• Your feed is quote pages.
• You share those quote pages daily.
• You buy all the things before starting.
• You rarely, if ever, do it alone.
Sign that you rely on Discipline👍🏻:
• Not post sharing, talking, or buying, just DOING.
An average trainer/coach can get you initial results. (Newbie gains)
A good one can continue to get you results after the newbie gains.
A great one.. you won’t need them anymore after 6 months.
But you’ll want them anyway.
139 MILLION Americans are diabetic or pre-diabetic as of 2023.
Prioritizing Diet and exercise isn’t something to put on your to do list for sometime in the future.
You’re in a do it and do it now scenario.
If you’re waiting for someone to tell you to start…
3. 2. 1. GO
NOW
We complicate things we’re neglecting.
By doing this, it gives us our excuse to not start.
Your taxes are more complicated than diet and exercise.
Yet, you do them every year.
“But I use a professional to help me with my taxes”
Ok, then do the same with diet and exercise.
“You’re too busy to workout.”
There are factors to your schedule that you CANT control. I get that.
But there also factors you CAN control that keep you from going to bed earlier to wake up earlier.
Strengthen your why.
If your Why is strong, you’ll make your When bulletproof.
Your spouse and your kids…
They are not the reason that you don’t workout consistently.
You are the reason you don’t.
And that’s because you are doing it for you.
Do it for something more important than you.
Like…
Your spouse and your kids.
Stop searching for motivation.
Rely on Discipline.
Dont have it yet? How do you get it?
Do the thing even when you don’t want to do the thing.
Everyday. Everytime.
Do it enough and it will eventually become Devotion.
That’s right.
Discipline becomes Devotion.
#TheDoItDad
The Do It Dad.
Dads have a lot on our plate daily.
Many of which we may not want to do.
How we attack our daily duties is exactly how we should attack our fitness.
Do It anyway.
What they ask:
“What style of workout should I do to lose weight?”
What they’re really asking:
“What should I do to burn body fat and look leaner?”
You See the difference?
The workout style isn’t the problem.
The scale doesn’t tell you the truth.
Fix your diet.
As an Oklahoma fan, you have to wonder how much game-planning time the last few weeks Lincoln Riley spent researching USC, getting to know the people in power (who already seem to know him & his family very well) and negotiating his mega deal. It makes you sick. And angry.
Being a teammate, training partner, coach and gym owner over the last decade of my life has given me a ton of experience to say this to people in some aspect.
Constantly using my words to motivate someone to believe… https://t.co/lWFnLAIh7v
