@PetronellaWyatt A sad loss, but it's a myth that Jean Harlow was denied medical care because of Christian Science (CS). David Stenn’s 1993 biography found they had “a dozen doctors regularly in attendance” and the CS that Mama Jean practised “wasn’t at all what the religion preached”.

She abhorred slavery and strove to save humanity from all slavery, including to pain and suffering, as Christian Scientists seek to do today.
