@Bonalbio24 Exactly. Which is why he doesnt have a future at lfc anymore. Gravenberch is the same. The only issue is that he used to play as a 6/8 at Ajax, and he still doesnt know to track players runs into the box, which is concerning. Those 2 can never play together in a pivot.
@Kish_P14@DistanceCovered Awful positioning - most of the time he is offside, lacks in runs in behind, and just all round awful decision making. Also can struggle to finish with his left. He does offer good hold up play, very good aerially, and offers good far post runs.
@Micks2B Gakpo and chiesa will stay. The market is awful for wingers this season, and I dont think we can afford both a barcola and a rayan type signing. RW is the most important. Chiesa will probably stay to cover the left and right.
@ChrisHewittLFC He fits well in the Wirzt Role in Alonso's System. He will probably go with the 343 system with the 2 10s like Amorim, with Palmer on the right.
@LFCZA The best description is how trent played with us. Direct, always looking for the forward pass, hitting long balls to catch teams on the counter, etc.
@EfranAlexander They were doing well. Its was a capitulation designed by Tuchel. Stupid defensive subs, and his so called golden boy James, getting injured 2/3 times this tournament.
@TaintlessRed Modern strikers have regressed massively compared to past strikers. The fact that most Strikers right now are one footed is shocking to me. How did the level of strikers regress like this ? No wonder clubs pay premium when they see two footed players.
@bull_bixon@Mobyhaque1 Ali was not 100% fit so the club agreed to let him to recover well so he can play in his last world cup. Whats wrong about that?
@GrizzKhan Hope they get through. VVD winning the WC would put him in the all time greatest defenders. Gakpo's confidence and value rises whilst Ryan continues to shows different sides of what he can offer in midfield.
@Micks2B No way. Zero end product. Shooting awful, passing average at best, poor decision making, and very predictable. We need a higher calibre player.
@FPLConQueror@polkyfpl@SamueILFC An 18yr old can play those games, sure. But RIO has not shown yet that he can cope with the physicality of the PL consistently. Also Iraiola plays with a high press, which is also tougher for him to play every 3 days. We should be able to protect him and prolong his career.
@RB_LFC The club clearly believes in Rio to play more. Also dont think the club want to spend like last summer. Hopefully we get a proper RW, dm/cm and rb. Those are way more important to be first XI quality than lw, since we have rio, chiesa if he stays, cody & wirtz that can play there
