Kyron Jackson – 2027 – G – Team Ramey Select
Jackson was one of the top scorers of the entire tournament. The junior was able to average over 20 points per game leading his team to some impressive wins and into to the platinum quarterfinals. This included scoring 22 points in an overtime win over MidPro Academy to get them to the quarterfinals. Jackson can really shoot the ball from the outside hitting four threes in that one game, all of them coming off the dribble. He is also a good playmaker on the attack beating defenders off the dribble and finishing both through contact and with his floater.
6'7 Class of 2027 Sean Gunn of Team Ramey Select 17u hits the buzzer beater mid range to beat Mid Pro Academy 17u team 60-58 in Overtime at @ny2lasports Swish & Dish tourney in Milwaukee.
Kyran Jackson 22 points
Sean Gunn 12 points
Ronnell Johnson 11 points
Tarik Bajramovic 6 points
Xavier Clark 5 points
Kyle Runyon 2 points
Adin Kujundzic 2 points
Very good propels Team Ramey into elite 8.
Class 6 Boys All-District
MBCA All-District is voted on by member coaches within the district. All-District is not an all-district tournament team; it reflects the entire regular season. The top 10 players from each district receive All-District honors (no first or second teams or honorable mention). Ten players receive these honors unless: there is a tie for 10th place (no tiebreakers; all receive honors), the district lacked 10 nominations from coaches, or head coaches chose not to be MBCA members and did not nominate players. The player receiving the most points is named District Player of the Year. Coaches within the district also vote on Coach of the Year. Players are listed by school in alphabetical order.
Congratulations to freshman Stacy Sorrell, sophomore Triston Howard, junior Kyron Jackson and senior James Conoyer for earning Metro Catholic Conference basketball all-conference recognition.
