The Kalamazoo Promise is a scholarship for each Kalamazoo Public School's resident graduate that provides up to 100% tuition for post-secondary education.

On Nov 10, 2005, The Kalamazoo Promise was announced by Dr. Janice Brown with the declaration that students who graduate from KPS and meet the basic requirements will receive up to 100% of tuition and mandatory fees paid for at any in-state public community college or university.
