I started my position in $BABA four and a half years ago in April 2021. Accumulated shares since the at a cost basis of 87.66 USD/share.

As of today, including dividends, the IRR of the investment is 14%. The return of S&P 500 including dividends is 13.4%

Yet Alibaba is extremely undervalued.

WAIT!!… $BABA issued 3.2 Bn USD of convertible bonds and the price conversion is at 60% PREMIUM! They do not want to dilute shareholders obviously but… what are they cooking? 👀

That should be c.230 $/share of ADS from current 143 $/share

Estee Lauder shares $EL fall-8% pre market after earnings release. My take on results:

EPS guidance slightly below consensus mainly due to tariffs impact on operations, estimated by the company at around 100 Mn USD (0.27$/share). This could change throughout the year and there may be even a upward guidance.

Silghtly increase in revenue forecasted for fiscal 2026. Good news China market stabilizing contributing with moderate growth as well.

PRPG program bearing fruit already reflected in 300 bps gross margin expansion.

2026 another transition year but an inflection point for the company, positioning itself to capture full growth in fiscal 2027.

I liked the results and the reset. I will increase my position in the coming days should this fall continue.

Negative report on Watches of Switzerland $WOSG issued by Kepler Cheuvreux today. It seems increasingly likely that management will announce a profit warning sooner than later. Should the 39% tariff remains, it will hurt margins badly.
