@ganseyyiii I love Roz writing in cursive, and I imagine Shane writing only in capital letters, but respecting uppercase and lowercase. Sometimes slanted, sometimes crooked... And using exclusively the cursive for his signature ('coz according to his research, celebrities sign like that)

Thought of a reality where Shane and Ilya never reconcile after tuna melt, they never talk again still see each other on the ice but it’s never the same again. Eventually Ilya retires quite early in his career , it’s later revealed he is diagnosed with early onset dementia, Shane reaches out but never hears anything back. Eventually Ilya passes away and when he does Svetlana reaches out to Shane and lets him know Ilya has left him something in his will. Ilya has written hundreds of letters to Shane over the years, he tells Shane that remembering him, remembering them is the most important thing to him and that he’ll hold on to them for as long as he can. He didn’t want for Shane to carry the burden of Ilya forgetting who he was so he never reached back out. He ends his last letter with “No disease could ever take from me the love I have for you, I just wish I had been brave enough to show you that love when we still had time”.

I fully made myself cry thinking this so I had to share it 🙂

@halo_ween17 Ugh, this reminds me of a fic where Ilya calls Shane "mommy" and has had this feeling for the feminine since he was little... I think a similar type of lingerie in that shade of blue was mentioned.
