I wish more people left comments on fics they enjoyed. While it's true we write for ourselves, it would be dishonest to say we didn't care about engagement. I don't think people realize how much a simple emoji or "Loved this" means to a writer, especially a less popular writer.

A lot of writers get caught up in trying to impress their following/keep up with what's popular in their fandoms instead of writing something they actually like.

Appeasing people will only make you resentful in the long run.

If no one is writing a character in the way you like, you have to be the one to write it. The same goes for ships and scenarios. Complaining about it or harassing others won't make them write something for you.

@onyvxT GENUINELY, I get that you want ur ship to be angst/toxic cuz it makes it more exciting (also cuz its canon at least from ur perspective) BUT THAT DOESNT MEAN IT HAS TO BE STRICTLY MISERABLE ALL THE TIME💔💔 Like damn give them a break, god forbid a ship becomes soft & comforting
