Over the past 11 months since the acquisition, I’ve received more negative messages and DMs across all platforms than positive ones. The goal was simple: to make sure Twire stayed alive while my team and I continued building toward the future.
Before the acquisition, I had already been quietly building new platforms. From the start, the plan was to grow and eventually compete with Twire, which at the time had complete control of the PUBG Esports, data, coaching, and analytics space. I’ve competed in PUBG for years and have been part of this community since the early days. I first used Twire back in college and never imagined I’d one day be the one keeping it running.
When it was announced that Twire was shutting down, I decided to acquire it to keep one of the most important platforms providing tools alive for a community I care deeply about. I know how vital Twire is for teams and players at all levels, as an early adopter of the platform myself, and I understand the significant difference it has made in my own playing career. The platform remains alive today as the #1 destination for PUBG Esports and Fantasy. We continue to work on the platforms we had been building, along with new ones we’ve created from the ground up following the acquisition.
That decision didn’t just keep everything running. It also strengthened our existing models and tools, as we were able to incorporate all the historical data that Twire had collected over the years.
As a solo founder funding everything personally, I can say with confidence there’s no one putting in more personal time, energy, and resources into developing platforms that strengthen and connect the esports ecosystem, especially within PUBG. My team and I have continued to work every day to build something far beyond what currently exists, not just for PUBG, but across all titles.
My mission is to bridge the gap between the casual and competitive communities, empowering fans, players, coaches, analysts, casters, talent, and organizations with data and tools that deepen understanding, enhance performance, and improve the way games are played, analyzed, and experienced.
We’re focused on providing more perspective to everyone involved in the ecosystem, doing so in ways that are simple, clear, and digestible, because when understanding grows, everything gets better.
@TheEmergeNC I’ve hosted PUBG FPP community tournaments for the Mega Pint NA scene and would love to explore a partnership as an event facilitator. This could be something special.
