@Murdersmith@ScribeUndead Personally not a fan of rolling dice with the universe using makeshift explosives either, buuuuuuut with some of the shit I've tried on a ski slope I guess I can't stay too much about that self preservation stuff.
@generic_hero @soulofkab@drybones_5 That might actually stand a chance, seeing as last I saw he was trying to target common cross city commuter routes, which is one of the few applications where a high speed rail or equivalent would make sense in the US.
@soulofkab@drybones_5 In terms of freight we're actually pretty far ahead of europe, if you look up anything about EU vs US freight it's all articles about how backwards and terrible EU freight is.
@soulofkab@drybones_5 tfw u want high speed rail in the US bc u just moved from los angeles to huston bc the taxes and rent forced you out and now you wish you could visit easily
@soulofkab@drybones_5 but urope has it bro with a population density like 20x higher than the us it totally makes sense here im an urbaninte and want to explore my other concrete jungles and i still dont have my drivers license just listen to me ok high speed rail is great idea
@drybones_5 I love how many mountain ranges this thing just casually passes through too, cuz I'm sure it won't up the cost at all to shoot that rail through all of Vermont and the Poconos and Colorado.
