If I'm being honest, half the things I went through are in fact because of me, my lack of discipline, not listening to my gut feelings, and my poor decision-making.
Game 1 takeaways:
- LeBron was great, OKC doesn’t have big wing defenders to match him 1on1 like Rockets did to prevent scoring
- Ayton was good, needs to stay out of foul trouble
- Lakers were missing a scoring punch, Reaves needs to be that (3-16 FG aint it)
- Rui played his role perfect
- Smart good on D, questionable shot selection
- Kennard was hesitant to shoot again for whatever reason
- Laravia…. no
- 1st half offense worked well, got sloppy and tired in 2nd half
- Defense was good enough to keep them in it (SGA 18 pts/7 TO)
If either Reaves or Kennard have a solid game the Lakers are in this one to the end. Gameplan was solid they just missed a scoring punch and got a bit sloppy at the end when they were falling behind
