Putting this out here now. I think Grav and Frimmy both have a resurgence under Iraola next season. Think the general squad will do a 180 but in terms of the two I see getting slated the worst on here, they will silence doubters.
Wasn’t particularly moved in the Champions League Final but also:
• The winger market is terrible
• He’s only 23
• Iraola is great with developing wingers
• He has the pace we badly lack
• He did have Saliba running ragged.
For a good price, it’s worth the punt.

How can people watch this level of athlete and technical and not think he is going to kill it for Barcelona?
Outrageous physical profile but his master over his motion at such top speeds is breathtaking. This is what he’s going to look like week-in, week-out in Spain by the way.
Andoni Iraola was always going to be linked with a move for one of his Bournemouth stars after arriving at Anfield, and Alex Scott is the one getting talked about the most. But should he really be a target? A look at what he brings and if it is worth £80m.

Big fan of Jones personally, his technical ability is some of the best within the squad and he’s always looking to make progressive passes on the field. He could do with cutting back on the number of touches he makes but for an 80m Alex Scott I say we keep him and see what he can do this season. Def think a CDM is much more important to get in the door.
Both his goals were penalties but he looked fantastic overall. Stability and the right system means so much for these players. That’s why it’s dumbfounding fans will write off people after a bad season when the ship they were on was broken and misguided in its expedition. Can’t wait to see what he does under Iraola.
As expected, Gakpo continues to be a completely different animal for his national team. The mix of knowing he’ll start and his importance settles him mentally and the fact that he’s done it multiple times in the orange shirt gives his actions an air of self assurance.

Come on man, you’re making yourself look silly. Expenditure for transfers and funding/loans for the construction of their new stadium are entirely separate sources. You don’t pay for stadium construction directly from the club, you go through banks. You’re making us LFC fans look slow.
I have a lot of faith that Iraola’s tenure will prove fruitful but even if it did not does anyone genuinely think Hughes is under any pressure, nor ultimately cares about the result of it, when he’s a signature away from Saudi Arabia?
Andoni Iraola will be under scrutiny when he begins life at Liverpool.
But he is not alone.
It was sporting director Richard Hughes, his old colleague at Bournemouth, who drove the exciting but risky move for Iraola.
What happens next will either make or break Hughes’ Anfield tenure.

Leoni stock next season with Konate gone & Iraola coaching him could 📈 and then also with Jeremy Jacquet being another youngster, it takes pressure off both of them knowing they have each other in the same boat, with Virg guiding them, very healthy situation.

Liverpool are set to hold talks with Julian Ward and David Woodfine about becoming the next sporting director when Richard Hughes departs, both have worked with the club a long time and share a great relationship with the hierarchy. Edwards will make the decision.
