@commentiquette it's great fun, but i had to stop after the da ordered me to pay child support for some cleaning staff i'd never met. trying explaining that to family at thanksgiving
@rvcas@neogoose_btw actually, while inspired by emacs, most of this stuff (c-w, c-u) is from the gnu readline library which was used in bash. these things are not in emacs by default. after that everyone else started doing it, including vim. i've been using for years in vim (& ff w/ emacs key theme)
