Today I was visiting Essex, home of the Dunmow Flitch Trials, one of 100s of traditions covered by Pomp & Circumstance Why Britain’s traditions matter. It dates back to 1104. Married couples compete to demonstrate how happy and in love they are. Prize is a side of bacon. I signed books and raised more funds for our charities. Wonderful to speak alongside the utterly marvelous @DockyardDogs, raising funds for the RNLI.
