Apparently, LA city's mailroom is out of cash and can't send LA Housing Dept. notices. A couple council members (including a mayoral candidate) have intro'd a motion to spot them $565K for mailing RSO/inspection notices, and info to protect people from being unjustly evicted.
We received this photo from L.A. Warmer weather, but a political ice age. Much strength and love to our friends from @LACAnetwork <3
Uns wurde dieses Foto aus L.A. zugespielt. Wärmeres Wetter, aber politisch Eiszeit. Viel Kraft und Liebe für unsere Freunde vom @LACANetwork<3
7/ They stand with harm. We stand with our communities. If they line up behind Feldstein Soto, we’ll stand louder with our people. We see through the endorsements & will keep building people power no politician can betray.
Newsom announced a task force to clear homeless encampments — but California’s been battling this crisis for over a decade. Billions spent, little accountability. One task force won’t fix it. Stay informed.

ICE raids in LA are rising. People are being held without bond — months locked away, families separated, communities living in fear. This doesn’t bring safety, only harm.
Stand with local orgs providing legal aid. No one should be silenced.

Trump signed H.R.1, cutting S.N.A.P. and putting millions at risk. In CA, 400,000 jobs lost, 120,000 in LA. Miss a call, lose a form, lose your benefits. Hunger shouldn’t be a punishment. #LACAN#LACANCommunity#FoodJustice#WellnessForAll
Hydee Soto just dropped a $5.9 million dookey bomb on LA—spending YOUR money on lawyer fees instead of housing, services, or real change. How many more of these are we going to let slide? Follow @LACANetwork to keep the pressure on.

The LA City Controller just said it plain: the LAPD is a liability for all Angelenos. Half a billion dollars in payouts = cuts to services that actually keep us safe. While the budget is called "Dookie," the truth is we're the ones left paying the price.

1/ When LA’s political leaders stand with Feldstein Soto, they stand against us. Backing her means endorsing criminalization, displacement & punishment—not justice. Their endorsement shows they side with wealth & policing, not the people of LA.
