In 1968, Rev. Troy Perry founded LGBTQ-inclusive Metropolitan Community Church in a Los Angeles living room. He faced bigotry, including an arson attack in 1973, but continued to preach love, acceptance & courage.

Today, MCC has 44,000 members over 300 congregations.
