Surya Bonaly will forever be the undefeated Ice Queen.
Blatant discrimination in 1993 caused her to lose a much deserved win to Oksana. She protested in 1994 as she was again cheated out of a win and refused to stand on the podium, a brave move for an athlete.
In 1998, she left the public frozen and etched her name in history when she performed a forbidden somersault. This was a blatant "fu*k you" to the Olympic judges as the injured Bonaly did an illegal backflip landing on one blade.Although that kept her forever away from winning a gold medal, her style was never duplicated and for that she remains undefeated..
⚠️ Eric Adams’ Department of Social Services provided protocols to shelter staff to let ICE into buildings without a judicial warrant. WE GRADED THE PROTOCOLS AND GAVE THEM AN F ‼️ for failure to comply with local law ❗️
