Here's the full picture for today: SPC has a Level 3 of 5 severe risk across parts of Colorado, Kansas, and Nebraska.

Storms build off the high ground out west this afternoon. The first ones can drop hail 2 inches and up. Then after dark they clump into one shoving line, and that's the main wind threat, with isolated gusts to 75 mph. A few tornadoes can spin up along that line late in the day too. If you're out there, today's the day to keep your phone loud overnight.

Locations within the pink scalloped area could see freezing fog, and this is the area where slick spots could develop (mainly bridges). South/east of there, widespread dense fog is seen.

437PM: A cold front is moving southeast across the DFW metroplex with a broken line of thunderstorms and gusty north winds behind the front. Isolated, strong storms are developing from northeast of Meridian into near Hillsboro, moving east. Small hail, lightning, and heavy rain are possible.

In this clip, I was able to call out a tornado 6 minutes before it had even formed. This is a top-down radar analysis of a mesocyclone handoff that would lead to the Villa Ridge-Gray Summit, MO tornado on Friday. Thankfully, the area was in a warning already from a prior cycle!

The new roadmap does seem to have less frequent updates. Here are some pros and cons of this updated plan.

Pros:

-Reduced Overwhelm – Players who felt overwhelmed by frequent content updates now have a more manageable pace.
-More Dev Time – Larger gaps give devs time to fix bugs and improve game quality.
-Bigger, Better Updates – Each release may be larger and more polished.
-Room for Mini-Events – Smaller events could keep engagement high without major updates.
-Increased Anticipation – Fewer updates build excitement for each new content drop.

Cons:

-Player Disconnection – Long gaps could cause players to lose track of the story.
-Risk of Burnout – Fast players may find themselves waiting too long for new content.
-Challenge to Sustain Hype – Mini-events may be needed to keep interest alive.
-High Pressure on Expansions – Fewer updates increase pressure for each one to deliver.
-Potential Decline in Game Popularity
Long periods without significant updates may cause the game to lose momentum, making it harder to attract new players.

HUGE congratulations to all the talented creators featured in today’s Dreamlight Valley showcase stream! 👏👏👏 It’s incredible seeing the community’s creativity on display, though I do wish the segment had been longer, featuring even more creators who work so hard to keep the game alive and exciting.

Honestly, it does sadden me that I wasn’t worth even one second in @DisneyDLV eyes after everything I’ve poured into supporting this game. I’ve dedicated nearly two years to daily videos, keeping up with every update, event, and premium shop item. I’ve invested financially too, showcasing items to help the community decide, while always bringing a positive spin on everything – even when others weren’t as thrilled. I’ve stood by the game, encouraging excitement and sharing why the community should be excited for each update.

But above all, I’m so grateful to my community for your endless support.
