LAFD Station 86 responded to a parent's worst nightmare: an unresponsive 3-year-old pulled from a Studio City pool. Arriving in 4 minutes, paramedics initiated advanced CPR. Within minutes, her heart beat again.
Today, Keira and her family joined leadership to honor the crew.

As storms hit over the weekend, firefighters at LAFD Station 74 sharpened their skills. Fire crews drill together on water rescue operations to ensure a coordinated response with Air Operations and Swiftwater teams when lives are at risk.

#LAFD firefighters battled a Major Emergency structure fire early this morning on the 2600 blk of S Paloma St in South LA. Over 180 firefighters responded to the massive blaze at a vacant historic church at 3:31 AM. Defensive operations were utilized due to collapse hazards.
