Thanks to the efforts of Stanley's Project Earth team, "No Idling" signs are now posted on all of our campuses! These signs remind drivers to turn off their engines while waiting in their cars, in order to keep our school communities healthier and safer!
On National Farmer's Day, we express gratitude to the women, men & families who put food on our tables every day. LAFSD students enjoy produce from Northern California and the Central Valley. These farmers keep our communities connected & strong. We thank you! #nationalfarmersday
We are grateful for our partnership with White Pony Express where our food donations contribute to the 15 million meals that White Pony provides to Contra Costa County residents in need.
Thanks to our staff & our Sodexo partners for making food recovery a priority. Happy Summer!

Look for some of these new items on our April menu!
Our next taste test will be at Lafayette Elementary next week!
We couldn’t do it without you! Thank you to our amazing Lafayette principals. October is National Principals Month, but we love our school leaders every day. 💙💛💜💛💚💙
This week, our Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade teacher teams are spending time collaborating on phonics instruction and phonemic awareness for our youngest students!
We were thrilled to celebrate Lafayette School District's Teacher of the Year, Claudia Windfuhr, at the Contra Costa County Teachers of the Year Program last night! Congratulations, Claudia, and thank you for all you do for our students!
Today is the first day of 2022's #BeKind21! The Lafayette School District is proud to once again join with our community partners and the Born This Way Foundation to practice 21 days of being kind to ourselves and to each other. Join us!
