AAU used to be for the top 5%. Now everyone has to participate because they are all going to get “recruited”. It has now evolved into a giant recreational league for athletes who should be working on their skills. We need to fix the system.

Guys (players) stop thinking it’s about your points per game… cause the first question I often hear or would even ask myself is can he guard his position and keep the ball in front. If you are getting straight lined on the regular, chances are you won’t be at the level you want to be at.

Please be aware if you are an out of state player and want to come to California to play junior college basketball that they CANNOT pay for your tuition!!!!! Your financial aid check will most likely go towards rent for your apartment (as a lot dont have dorms) and the classes that you must take. If they tell you otherwise they are lying

Respect to this left-handed PG who set the tone on defense. Controlled the tempo, initiated movement within the offense, and took control when he needed to. Made noticeable improvements from last year and taken on greater responsibilities.

The force behind the charge. Since last seeing him play at the Juco Jamboree this past fall, there has been immense improvement to his outside shooting. Still a threat on the drive. No shortage of confidence from this 20+ ppg guard.

Fiery wing who plays with an insurmountable heart. Does everything to the best of his ability on both ends of the court. Doesn’t force many shots, but can hit a tough shot when necessary. Pass disrupter, tracks down passes like a DB.
