LARMO Participates in the National Forum for Trainers and Sustainable Development
The Head of the Human Resources Department at the Libyan Asset Recovery and Management Office (LARMO) took part in the National Forum for Trainers and Sustainable Development, held at Bab Al Bahr Hotel and concluded on Monday, 13 October 2025.
Organized by the Human Resources Development Fund under the theme “Towards the Development of the Training and Qualification System in Libya”, the forum brought together experts, officials, and training specialists.
Discussions focused on empowering national competencies and enhancing the training system in line with scientific and professional standards, while emphasizing partnerships to strengthen human resource development in Libya

شارك مكتب استرداد وإدارة أموال الدولة الليبية (LARMO) في الاجتماع السنوي الأول لشبكة “مينا أيرن”، الذي عُقد في مدينة جدة بالمملكة العربية السعودية.
تناول الاجتماع موضوع المسؤولية المشتركة للدول في التصدي للتحديات المرتبطة بالأصول غير المشروعة الناتجة عن جرائم الفساد والجريمة المنظمة، مؤكدًا أن إطلاق الشبكة يُعد خطوة عملية نحو بناء منظومة تعاون إقليمي فاعلة، قادرة على إحداث أثر ملموس في مكافحة التدفقات المالية غير القانونية وتعزيز جهود استرداد الأموال

أموال الدولة الليبية كان من الجهات السبّاقة في طرح فكرة إنشاء هذه الشبكة، وذلك بالتعاون مع الأمم المتحدة والشبكة الدولية لاسترداد الأصول منذ أكثر من ثلاث سنوات.

The Libyan Asset Recovery and Management Office (LARMO) participated in the first annual meeting of the MENA ARIN network , which was held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The meeting addressed the issue of the joint responsibility of States in addressing the challenges associated with illicit assets resulting from corruption crimes and organized crime, stressing that the launch of the network is a practical step towards building an effective regional cooperation system, capable of making a tangible impact in combating illegal financial flows and enhancing money recovery efforts.
It is noted that the Libyan Asset Recovery Office of Management (LARMO)
were one of the pioneers in putting forward the idea of establishing this network, in cooperation with the United Nations via the CARIN NETWORK
The Libyan Asset Recovery and Management Office delivered an official statement, commissioned by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, on the efforts of the Government of National Unity to recover Libyan funds smuggled abroad.
The participation came in the form of a recorded video highlighting these efforts, in coordination with the Office of the Public Prosecutor, the Permanent Mission of Libya to the United Nations in Geneva, and all relevant stakeholders.
The Office affirmed that this step comes as part of its endeavors to enhance international cooperation, shed light on the national efforts exerted to recover and safeguard Libyan assets, and address the challenges faced by the Libyan state in reclaiming its assets.
شارك مكتب استرداد أموال الدولة الليبية وإدارة الأصول المستردة بكلمة رسمية، وذلك بتكليف من رئاسة مجلس الوزراء، حول جهود حكومة الوحدة الوطنية في استرداد الأموال الليبية المهربة إلى الخارج.
وجاءت المشاركة في إطار تسجيل فيديو يبرز هذه الجهود، بالتنسيق مع مكتب السيد المستشار النائب العام والبعثة الليبية لدي الامم المتحدة بجنيف وكافة الجهات ذات العلاقة.
وأكد المكتب أن هذه الخطوة تأتي ضمن مساعيه لتعزيز التعاون الدولي وتسليط الضوء على الجهود الوطنية المبذولة لاستعادة الأصول الليبية وحمايتها والصعوبات التي تواجه الدولة الليبية في استرداد اصولها.

Staff from the Libyan Asset Recovery and Management Office (LARMO) participated in the GlobE Network Induction Session, held virtually on Thursday, 10 July 2025, alongside new contact points and practitioners from member authorities.
The session provided an overview of the GlobE Network’s objectives, information exchange mechanisms, the Secure Communication Platform (SCP), and upcoming initiatives, including the use of artificial intelligence in anti-corruption efforts.
LARMO’s participation reflects its ongoing commitment to strengthening international cooperation and enhancing national capacity in asset recovery and anti-corruption work.
