The final day of the Robotics Accelerator has wrapped and our first annual program is in the books. Today was a real nail-biter! After a morning of lectures and demos on Industrial Robotics, the students put the culmination of all their hard work to the test!

Day 4 of the Robotics Accelerator is all about UAVs. Thank you to Dr Adrian Lauf from the Computer Science Department for today's lecture and demonstration. The students were also given extra time to move their manipulators and attach their grippers before testing tomorrow.

Day 3 of our Robotics Accelerator is all about Robotic Locomotion. Professor Dr. Jean Vaz shared his 12 years of experience working in robotic locomotion with our students. Today's demo followed the theme of locomotion with our B1 four-legged robot from Unitree.

Day 2 of the Robotics Accelerator featured a lecture and demonstration on Robotic Manipulation from UofL ECE Ph.D. Student Nicolas Kosanovic. Students will take the information gained from today's lecture and begin applying it to their manipulators.

Day 1 of our Robotics Accelerator is well underway! Throughout this week students will receive instruction from both Professors and Ph.D. students, demonstrations based on the topic of the day, and will complete and compete against each other to build a robotic actuator.

Last Thursday was another successful Open House for all of us at LARRI. A special thank you to HFO Chicago, HJI Supply Chain Solutions, Advantage Industrial Automation, Tidas Automation, Schneider Electric, Complete 3D, BFEA, and REU who attended. We had an amazing turnout!

LARRI's week-long Robotics Accelerator is now accepting applications until May 31st. This program is designed for young adults interested in developing their robotics skills with experienced mentors while gaining hands-on experience in design, development, programming, &testing.
