i. Possess a Bachelor’s degree with a good grade to proceed to a Master’s programme; for Physiology, Medical Biochemistry and Physiotherapy, possession of Master’s degree with evidence of registration for PhD is compulsory.

29TH & 30TH CONVOCATION CEREMONIES: TRAFFIC CONTROL AND PARKING ARRANGEMENTS
To ensure smooth and safe movement of persons and vehicles during the 29th and 30th Convocation Ceremonies of Lagos State University, the School of Transport and Logistics hereby informs the University community and the general public of the traffic control and parking arrangements for Tuesday, 18th August 2026.
The arrangements for vehicular movement during the Convocation Ceremonies are as follows:
i. Staff Arrival and Parking: All LASU staff who wish to park at their faculties or offices are advised to be on campus before 8:00 a.m., as there will be restricted vehicular movement thereafter.
ii. Designated Entrance Gates: From 8:00 a.m., entry into the University will be through the Hostel Gate and Badagry Gate to designated points only.
iii. Restricted Access: There will be NO ACCESS beyond AJ and the 3-in-1 Junctions.
iv. Designated Parking Areas: Vehicles entering through the Badagry Gate should park at the former banking area close to the Main Gate and the current banking area. Vehicles entering through the Hostel Gate should park at the Hostel areas, CCECC sites and the New FMS grounds.
v. Visitor Drop-off Point: The designated drop-off point for visitors will be the ACEITSE. Vehicles leaving the campus after dropping off visitors will exit only through the IBA Gate.
vi. Movement of Luggage and Cargo: Cart pushers and shuttle services will be available at designated points to assist with the movement of luggage and other cargo. Members of the University community and visitors are advised to expect more walking and plan accordingly.
vii. No Parking on Pedestrian Walkways: Parking on pedestrian walkways is strictly prohibited, irrespective of status or position. Any vehicle found parked on a pedestrian walkway will be towed to the Works and Physical Planning Department and will only be released upon payment of a ₦50,000 fine.
The University community and general public are enjoined to adhere strictly to these arrangements and cooperate with security and traffic personnel to ensure the free flow of traffic and the smooth conduct of the Convocation Ceremonies.

Lagos State University has named two standout scholars as its overall best graduating students for the 2024/2025 and 2025/2026 academic sessions ahead of its combined 29th and 30th convocation ceremonies.
Ayilara Olawale of the Department of Project Management Technology emerged as the overall best graduating student for the 2024/2025 academic session with a CGPA of 4.96, graduating with First Class Honours.
Adebanjo Oluolamide of the Department of Aerospace Engineering claimed the honour for the 2025/2026 academic session with an outstanding CGPA of 4.97.
