@SeanDOlfc Final year of his deal, Boro have been fending off offers for him for years under the guise of him being crucial for their promotion and demanding huge fees for him. They fucked it this year and now he can finally escape
🔵 Everton are pursuing Hayden Hackney and he would keen on a move that would cost in the region of £10m; David Moyes has made it clear his club must show ambition this summer to keep progressing

@jayythewave You should absolutely check out Bilmuri, The Story So Far, and Neck Deep. I think you’d love them if you like Sum 41. I made you a playlist you can put on shuffle and check em out:

And I include Brown because despite him being mostly a left back/left wing, he has played right back before, he’s two-footed, and he fits our team like a glove. So having a dual threat option for both fullback roles is ideal and he’s only 22.
If Iraola achieves all of the above - which I feel is extremely reasonable and frankly the bare minimum - I’ll be happy. But if he isn’t winning silverware/making it to cup finals by year 2, then we have to explore our options at an elite manager with a title winning reputation.
- Not wanting to put a revolver in my mouth watching us play
- A clear, established vision for our style
- Intense training and a reduced injury frequency
- Players show passion and mentality again
- Top 3 in the league
- Youth in domestic cups
- Deep European run
What’s everyone’s genuine and fair expectations for Iraola next season? Like what would you consider a good first year and what would be considered an absolute failure for you?

Honestly sell him now - we could get a big fee after the season he just had. Midfield market is very deep this summer, specially with domestic talent, & we could get rid of Mac Allister as well. Fresh start.

▪️ Szoboszlai contract offer
▪️Liverpool prepared to sell star
Liverpool is currently in serious discussions with Dominik Szoboszlai about extending his contract.
The club is looking to improve his personal package to ensure they don’t face another situation like with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Ibrahima Konaté, who both left on free transfers.
This time, Liverpool is taking a proactive approach. With just two years left on Szoboszlai’s deal, they’re not willing to let it run down. If talks don’t progress, the club is prepared to sell him this summer.
It’s a clear message: Liverpool is prioritizing contract management and won’t let valuable players slip away without a fight.
The stakes are high, and the pressure is on for both sides to reach an agreement.
@Hig_the_twit@Cha2737379qh@c_hovar You’ve listed 6 players that were near retirement age when they left for free. Messi’s exit was also tied to tax evasion lawsuits.
Actually now that I’m seeing Szoboszlai only has 2 years left on his deal - make him sign a new deal now or sell him this summer. Literally no point losing him for free soon.
This is getting ridiculous, Edwards & Hughes have been utter clowns since returning to/joining the club.
