The World Finally Catches Up to Eritrea’s Vision
President Isaias Afwerki said it twenty years ago: the age of unipolar domination and dependency is ending, and Africa must rise through equality, not aid. He warned that real development comes only through sovereignty, partnership, and mutual respect, not handouts designed to control nations.
Today, the same global powers that dismissed him now admit the truth. The U.S. itself speaks of partnership over aid, investment over dependency, and cooperation over pressure. Eritrea didn’t shift its principles. The world finally shifted toward Eritrea’s vision.
This is not a coincidence. This is leadership, clarity, and long-term strategy. Eritrea stood firm when others bent, and now the world is catching up to a truth we understood decades ago.

“In this month of June, I lead the Africa Group of Ambassadors to the United Nations while the world is facing unprecedented challenges requiring new ways of thinking, enhanced global cooperation and renewed governance systems. My leadership coincides with the UN process of selecting its next GA President and Secretary-General amidst growing impact of conflicts happening in many parts of the world.
While Africa’s resources, experience and capabilities can shape UN reform, Africa remains sidelined from global decisions. My leadership will therefore prioritize inclusive decision-making; sustainable development strategies; and renewed partnerships for stronger multilateral cooperation.”

Egypt Approves Cairo University Branch in Eritrea
CAIRO ― Egypt’s Supreme Council of Universities has reportedly approved the establishment of a branch of Cairo University in Eritrea, as part of broader efforts to expand Egypt’s higher education presence abroad and deepen educational ties with #Eritrea.
The decision was announced during the council’s regular meeting chaired by Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Abdelaziz Konsowa, alongside university presidents and council members.
During the meeting, Konsowa emphasized the importance of accelerating the internationalization of Egyptian universities and increasing the export of Egyptian higher education services overseas.
He also directed the formation of a committee of academic experts to oversee the implementation of the strategy.

Abiy Ahmed didn't realize the favor he did for the Eritrean people, both at home & across the diaspora. By testing our resilience, he brought us closer together than ever. Today, we stand united, celebrating our hard-earned independence with louder voices & stronger hearts!
💪🇪🇷
Mr. Hudson, this is the reason.

Now, why are you so obsessed with Eritrea?
And why are you on an overdrive in your defamation camapaign this time of the year?
Incredible week - as #Eritrea celebrated its 35th Independence Day the sense of joy and national pride were everywhere. Sharing some pictures of the week…
From the official reception of the Minister of Foreign Affairs
The founding fathers and mothers of #Eritrea — the guardians of the nation — were tested repeatedly by war, famine, isolation, and enormous military pressure. They were pushed, attacked, and challenged from every direction, yet they refused to bend. From beginning to end, their motto was unwavering:
“ኣይንምብርኸኽን” — We shall never kneel down! #EritreaAt35 #EritreaPrevails

I wish all Eritreans a proud Independence Month a tribute to the three-decade fight for freedom, earned through courage and sacrifice. May God bless Eritrea. Moving forward, we stand united in safeguarding our land, our waters, and the Red Sea from those who seek to harm. 🇸🇴 🇪🇷
A misleading article accompanied by a deceptive AI-generated image will not change the reality on the ground. #Washington’s recent move has sent many of #Eritrea’s archenemies, detractors, and paid lobbyists off balance, forcing them to recycle old lies.
