Yesterday, our 999 control room received over 8,000 calls, the busiest day since the Covid-19 pandemic with record number of calls from 2pm until midnight.

We were called at 9.40am today (30 April) to reports of an incident at the junction of Farringdon Road and Clerkenwell Road, EC1M.
We sent resources to the scene including ambulance crews, incident response officers and paramedics from @LAS_HART.

Lykeisha, a 111 health advisor, shares:
"I was trying to help someone, and they became racially abusive. We are only doing our jobs, there should be no place for racism or abuse in today’s society."
We were called to a suspected carbon monoxide leak at a shop in #Charlton this morning.
Firefighters have carried out a sweep of the building and ventilated the affected areas. Crews have now left the scene.

We were called at 4.50pm today (Monday 8) to Terminal 4 at Heathrow airport. We sent ambulance crews, our cycle response unit, an incident response officer, and our hazardous area response team (HART). We treated 21 patients before taking one to hospital.

We sent multiple resources to the scene, including ambulance crews, advanced paramedics, an incident response officer, @LAS_HART and @LDNairamb. We treated 17 people, taking 15 patients to hospital and discharging two patients at the scene.
