Louisiana's State Parks, Historic Sites and preservation areas offer you and your family a unique experience of our state's natural beauty and history.
A new 22-site campground at Cypremort Point State Park opens soon! All sites offer gulf front views, pull-through ADA accessible concrete pads with full hookups. Reservations will be available March 12 at https://t.co/pLMbmTYfh9 and the campground opens to guests on March 22!
As high temperatures and dry conditions continue, we are urging all campers to refrain from ANY outdoor burning at our parks. This includes grilling, fire pits and campfires. Please do your part to prevent wildfires.
Palmetto Island State Park has a new sculpture that celebrates Louisiana's official state mammal the Louisiana Black Bear. The art was commissioned through Percent for Art Program by the Louisiana Office of Cultural Development, Division of the Arts.
