Wild ride indeed! Thanks to Teddy Allen for giving me some of his Hall of Fame airtime.
I’m looking forward to the next 23 years God willing and my continued connection to @LATechSports.

@TheRealJoshMAC Absolutely absurd. Put flags on them. He didn’t launch. He didn’t lead with helmet. There were no elements of targeting. Pitiful but not surprising.
@phillip_garris@LATechSB The rule states that once a play is reviewed and a decision made a coach can’t argue it. Josh wasn’t arguing. He was asking for an explanation of what they saw on the review. The crew was brutal all game. And home plate umpire shouldn’t be allowed to ever call again in CUSA imo.
So proud of @LaTechSb today. They played with so much heart and grit. Extra inning win to knock off the home team and then take regular season champ Liberty to 10 innings. Special team that will be remembered. And a wonderful senior class.
@BetterTechStool Once they called her out of the baseline the play was not reviewable per rule. It was an unbelievable game by two great teams that was tainted by a really poor job by the crew. Congrats to Liberty for winning the title.
@BetterTechStool I do believe she was tagged originally and would be out upon review. However the call of being out of the baseline was weak and par for the course with what I witnessed with this crew all night. It was illustrated by them ejecting Josh Taylor for asking for an explanation.
@DrJBHenderson It was so pitiful. The home plate guy had zero feel or awareness. Extra innings. Elimination game. Spot in title game on line. And not only do they blow the call but he gets little man syndrome and ejects Josh for asking for an explanation. Our kids deserved so much better.
Malcom Butler has been a part of @LATechSports for a long time.
He reflects on personal and professional challenges, the importance of community, and his enduring passion for Louisiana Tech on this new episode of Beyond 1894.
