@snickerolli He's really only necessary so that Kinger isn't responsible for the actual main bad thing, the humans being trapped in the circus. Kinger may have made Caine but Scratch was behind the brainscans, he put everyone there in the end
@reallifeSDN As a side note, one of the main complaints I see is that we don't learn enough about C&A. What more do we need to know?? It was a software programming company with a focus on "Creative AI" that consists of Kinger, Scratch, and the other members.
@alluregojos Simon feels like a "this was always going to happen" type tragic character because literal cosmic forces of fate molded his entire life to be as crummy as possible. If he ever got a break the entire world ends one way or another
@Charlotte_Wald I think the issue is just how conflicting Caine and Abel are in their mindsets. Caine is emotional and expressive, he wants and imagines which is why his shapes are more "messy" and abstract (haha). Abel is more like what C&A wanted, focused and goal oriented, their shapes (cont)
@shin_kale_rider The literal thesis statement of the entire show is that a society that takes care of each other and doesn't rely on its idols is all the better for it
